Walter Valentini Catalogue Raissoné

The primary purpose of the Archive is the systematic cataloguing of the artist’s entire production in view of the publication of the catalogue raisonné.

It carries out study, expert authentication, and research activities to ensure the protection of Walter Valentini’s artistic heritage, also promoting legal initiatives against forgeries and any other illicit acts. The Archive examines and records at its headquarters any work or artefact created by Walter Valentini.

The Scientific Committee has established that the archiving certificate can be issued exclusively to natural persons.

To proceed with the correct archiving of the work(s), it is necessary to send the following documentation:

correctly completed form, downloadable at the link at the top right;

• Professional photograph of the front of the work (minimum resolution 300 dpi)

• Professional photograph of the back of the work (minimum resolution 300 dpi)

• Copy of the certificate of authenticity

• Completed request/information sheet

• Provenance

• Various publications

• Bank transfer receipt for the deposit of € 200.00 (please read note 2 carefully).

The material (photographic and otherwise), subject to authorisation for its use by the applicant, without any limitation, may be sent exclusively via email or via WeTransfer to the following addresses:

Professional quality images in TIF digital format — with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi and a size of no less than 30 cm at the base — must be sent on DVD or via WeTransfer.

It is advisable to inform the photographer of the procedures indicated above so that the photos are taken correctly as requested.

Contractual Conditions:

1. The Applicant hereby requests the inclusion of the work in the Walter Valentini General Catalogue, undertaking to send the material requested by the Walter Valentini Archive and to pay the indicated fees.

2. The fee to be paid amounts to € 400.00, to be divided into 2 instalments: a deposit of € 200.00 for inclusion in the General Catalogue (to be paid before signing this request) and a balance of € 200.00 upon delivery of the first volume of theGeneral Catalogue.
